March Stitch From Stash

Lots of stitching from my stash this month and I'm happy to report that not a penny was spent. Okay, so in Canada we no longer use the penny, but really I didn't spend anything on stash this month!

My main stitch which I really continue to enjoy has been Three Tulips.

Besides this, I continue to put in a few stitches on PPS Love Thy Neighbour.

I've put this aside for now because I think I'm going to swap out some of the colours with other floss from my stash. Being a part of this group has given me more confidence in using floss from my stash rather than ordering more for each piece. I'm getting more confident on my colour choices and schemes for a design.

I also had two finishes from charts in my stash. Both are spring/Easter designs which will add to my spring decor.

It's amazing what lovelies you can find within your stash!

  2. Both your finishes are wonderful. I really love them. And I think you stayed with the lighter thread in Three Tulips. What ever thread you went with looks beautiful. I am in the same boat as you and are doing my best to use my thread stash instead of ordering - but but but!!!
Okay no but's - lol. love Annette

  20. I totally agree with you - my stash is also full of things that I dearly love and I'd like to start them all at once.
YOur have stitched a lot this month, and even some lovely spring finishes.
And isn't it great to play with threads and colours a bit?I never used to do that and always thought that the recommended thread an colour was the best. BUt since I started changing these a bit here and there I'm using much more of my thread stash And usually I'm very pleased with the results.
