I had a run ...Poor kitty! Hope she;s better soon!

I had a run in with a deer when we lived in Delaware. Like you, I knew there were spots along the road I was driving that deer favored, but even when you know it could happen, it's still a shock. I slammed on the brakes too, and the deer hit my front quarter panel, rolled up over the hood, over the windshield and across the roof. It happened so fast I wouldn't have believe it if it weren't for the dents and scratches. He rolled off the car and took off into the woods, apparently unhurt.

It wasn't until we got home that I realized we were an inch or two away from his gigantic rack coming right through the windshield.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17432778814708875811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534635489693943580.post-41705320265897192982010-03-22T09:35:35.329-04:002010-03-22T09:35:35.329-04:00Oh, poor sweet Clarisse. People in our neck of the woods sometimes hate the deer. It can be so dangerous on the rural roads and the highways. Didn't you just recently get that car?Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17101990651665004627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534635489693943580.post-24821830230031456422010-03-21T10:06:06.543-04:002010-03-21T10:06:06.543-04:00Oh no Lynn, what a week! I hope you get to bring her home soon. *hugs*Daffycathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07014712375064249301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4534635489693943580.post-88364414441548732452010-03-20T21:23:00.888-04:002010-03-20T21:23:00.888-04:00My cat is recently recovering from a bout of vomit...My cat is recently recovering from a bout of vomiting that was very severe but the Vet had no idea why other than the flu so I understand how helpless you feel. I was able to keep mine at home with me but my dh and I were giving him 3 medications every 12 hours at home but he eventually stopped. I hope your kitty is feeling better soon :) All your WIP's look wonderful and love the Snowflake finish too! Lucky you that the deer didn't do more damage, it's amazing how they can smash up a car! Glad you are ok.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13443013442760859928noreply@blogger.com
